Redondo Beach, CA (November 17, 2008) - ArcoStream, a leader in streaming, caching, advertising, and encoding solutions, announced today that it is partnering with Sportnet, a division of Wasserman Media Group, on the streaming of live web cameras from some of the world’s top surfing locations.

The streaming cameras, found on Wetsand.com, Sportnet’s portal for surfing enthusiasts, show viewers surf conditions in real time from 15 locations, including Ala Moana, Waimea, and Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, as well as Mavericks, Cardiff, and Newport in California.

It is expected that traffic to the live web cameras will spike during the festival, which is held at different locations from November 12-December 20, from the North Shore of the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Two of the Wetsand camera locations, Pipeline and Sunset Beach, are Triple Crown sites.
